Troubleshooting login issues

  • Two-factor authentication enabled: If you enabled 2FA, you will receive an SMS code after entering your password. Enter the code to complete login.
  • Browser or device issue: Clear your browser cache and cookies, or try logging in from a different browser or device.
  • Forgot your password: Click the "Forgot your password?" link on this page. We send a reset link to your registered email. Follow the link to set a new password within 24 hours.
  • Account suspended or closed: If your account has been closed due to Terms of Use violation or KYC rejection, contact our support team to clarify your account status.

Password reset process

To reset your password, click the "Forgot your password?" link on the login page. We ask for your registered email address. We then send a password-reset link to that email. The link is valid for 24 hours. Click it, and you are taken to a secure form where you set a new password. Your new password must be at least 8 characters long and include uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and a symbol. After you confirm your new password, you can log in immediately with your username or email and the new password.

Two-factor authentication and login security

olxroto supports two-factor authentication (2FA) as an additional security layer. If you have enabled 2FA in your account settings, you will receive an SMS code to your registered mobile number each time you log in from a new or unrecognized device. This code is time-limited; enter it within the login window to proceed. 2FA prevents unauthorized access even if someone obtains your password. We recommend enabling 2FA, especially if you maintain a significant account balance.

If you lose access to the phone number associated with your 2FA, contact our support team immediately. Our team can verify your identity (via email confirmation or other documentation) and disable 2FA temporarily so you can log in and update your phone number.

Account access from different locations

olxroto allows you to log in from multiple locations and devices. If you attempt to log in from a new geographic location (detected by IP address), you may be asked to confirm your identity before access is granted. This is a standard security check. Confirmation typically involves verifying an email sent to your registered address or entering a code sent via SMS. These checks protect your account from unauthorized access and are part of our fraud-prevention workflow.

If you travel frequently or regularly access olxroto from different cities (Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan), these geographic variations are normal and do not require you to unlock your account or re-verify your identity each time. However, unusual or suspicious login patterns may trigger additional security reviews.
